30's MG Bluemels steering wheel. Total rebuild, marble plasticised finish.
1928 Whippet steering wheel. Full rebuild, final satin finish in original type
black plastic.
1939 MG TA Tickford. Bluemels steering wheel, formally
weathered and shrunken, was re rimed and plasticised in walnut. Our
thanks to Robin Trevathasan of Singapore fore these great shots.
1934 Lagonda complete new replica steering wheel built.
Commissioned by Bob Fountain and his team at the Aston Martin Workshop in the UK.
The wheel originally sent out to be restored was totally un servicable.
here are some progressive "pics" including some that Bob provided of his Lagonda in it's various stages of restoration. Bob drove this vehicle in the Peking to Paris rally and final wheel photo in situ, shows some extra grip / protection for the long journey.
50's Aston Martin steering wheel, re rimed re rivited and re
plasticised using original type plastic.

1935 Bentley steering wheel, hand plasticised in original type black plastic.
1928 Dodge Victory 6 steering wheel. All we had to work with was the spider
pictured here. Wheel totally rebuilt replicating original contours and finger
grips, final plasticising in original type black plastic.
Austin 7 1927 steering wheel. Before and after plasticise in gloss black.
Hudson Terraplane 1937.Steering wheel, sent out from the UK for a total rebuild,
including restoring distorted horn button also the replacement of
all the spokes as some of the original ones were fractured.
Hub, spokes and centre button ring, chromed and then nickel plated.
Final plasticised finish in a very subtle marble appearance, colour similar to original.
Oldsmobile 1937 Straight 8 Deluxe steering wheel. Total rebuild from bare frame
and plasticised in a soft muted marble custom colour. Centre emblem was hand
painted as original.
Buick 1938. steering wheel was totally rebuilt from bare frame, plasticised and
coloured in plain ivory. Horn button hand enamelled.
Riley Kestral 1935. Steering wheel restored in original type plastic, Our

Citroen light 15 Bluemel's Brooklands steering wheel, this is what we started with on the left .
Complete rebuild followed by original type plastic finish with a subtle marble pattern, colour matched to interior.
