In our niche business, we restore/ enhance or customise your original
steering wheel, which may or may not, be irreplaceable.
We do not try to compete with reproduction steering wheels.
What we do offer, is the opportunity for you to use your "artistic license" and turn your steering wheel
into something really special.
This incidentally gives you, the customer total choice in type of finish and colour in a pearl or plain plasticised finish.
We have been applying our craft here in Melbourne Australia for over 30 years now and our predecessor for 40+ years
prior to this.
We are not "recasters"
All our work is completely hand built and hand plasticised using a very durable plastic coating which also has a wonderful feel to it.
This finish is far superior to any of the usual "bog and paint" restoration's.
Ours is a time honoured craft which is a progression of hand applied applications.

Within Australia most wheels are sent by Australian post, however it is always a good idea to register your parcel,
as we do, on its return to to you.
A vast amount of our jobs these days come from overseas customers, in the instance of the U.S.A. transit time
is typically 4-5 days. We ship from this end via Australia Post International Express Courier 2-3 days and totally trackable door to door
Only
hard surfaced wheels ie bakelite plastic or wood can be plasticised using
our materials, we can not plasticise soft or spongy wheels.
No all steering wheels featured on this site, have been commissioned jobs
and are
therefore not for sale. We work on the customers own steering wheel.
Depending
on work load and condition of the wheel, we usually allow 3-4 weeks to
complete a job.
Again it all
depends on what is required.
A good starting point, if you are unable to call in personally, is to email us a clear photo of your wheel.
This is successfully how we can evaluate the work to be done, especially for all our overseas enquiry's.
A firm quote is given in writing or via email before the commencement of work.
We can
match up any colour, either by a sample for eye match or given an automotive
paint code, and in the case of our pearl plastic, pigment it to match up your new colour scheme.
Is out sourced and costs passed on accordingly.
Afford your newly restored steering wheel the same care you would give your
car paint job. Avoid contaminants, abrasives and solvents.
Polish with a soft cloth and occasionally if desired, a small amount of non silicone internal car polish can be
applied to the steering wheel.
