rim thickened accordingly. Pearl
plasticised in duel colours, white and custom orange, chrome dress bands added.
1955 Chev rim reduction from 18" to 15" diameter.
Plasticised in ivory pearl.
As well as restoring we also modify steering wheels to suit special needs or
applications. The rim size can be reduced and we can thicken the
rim as well.
Holden FC 1958 steering wheel. Reduced in size from 16.5" to 14.5" ,
plasticised and primed prior to final colour.
We were commissioned by Steve Legens of Legens Hot Rod
Shop in Tennessee USA to modify this steering wheel needed for one of their
projects at the time, the now very famous '41 Willys Hammer Head pick up owned
by Seth Wagner of Illinois.
We thank Steve for sending through these photos and we were
proud to play a very small but pivotal role in the building of this
amazing machine.

53 Cadillac steering wheel as presented. wheel was modified constructing
a third spoke to allow the wheel to fit a three spoke horn assembly for a 1950
Cadillac.
Final finish in a two tone format as original colour
scheme, Ivory pearl on side grips and charcoal marble finish on top and
bottom of wheel.

14", original contours and finger grips replicated, final plasticised
coating in a custom dark blue .
Ansett Pioneer Bus ( USA M.C.I.) Steering wheel reduced in diameter from
22" to 18". Final finish in a two tone pearl combination to match
converted motor home interior.

1966 Steering wheel, reduced in diameter
from 16 " to 14" and pearl
plasticised in custom blue to match car

Holden FC '59 steering wheel, reduced from 16.5" to 14.5".
Original contours and finger grips retained, wheel was then plasticised and
primed ready for customers to coat in their own colour choice, Spline was

The rear skirt of the wheel was extended, in order
to fit appropriately to a modified column.
Wheel then hand plasticised and coloured in a two
tone combination to match 1948 Coupe.

Ford 49/ 50 rim reduced down to 16" and hand plasticised in gloss black .
55 /57 Chev, rim reduction to 16" and hand plasticised in Regency red
pearl.
'65 /'66 Ford Mustang Steering wheel, rim reduced to 14" and thickened to
suit, finally hand plasticised in
charcoal pearl.
1936 Ford steering wheel, rim reduced to approx 15" and spokes dished slightly.
Wheel then plasticised and coloured in a custom brown.
Initial colour changed and steering wheel was later recoloured by Dave Lane of Fast Lane rod Shop in Iowa.
This major award winning '32 Ford Coupe was built by Dave Lane and is owned
by Alan and Connie Button of Missouri USA.
